Born in Los Angeles to a multicultural family, much of her work focuses on the nuances and intersections of identity. She frequently draws upon her extended family’s heritage to try to make sense of the multiracial diaspora experience.

She works in various mediums and is continually inspired by household objects, packaging, video games and other consumer products.
